Bonding Through Baking

It has been a while since my last post. I have been busy bonding with my daughter Giselle and husband for these past four months. I’m not sure if I mentioned that I was pregnant. But I birthed my daughter on June 12th and she’s just so precious. We love her so much and she’s growing so fast.

About two days ago, we went to Boyd’s Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze in Clarksville, TN. It was our first time pumpkin picking and we just loved it! We took a ton of photos and even though Giselle didn’t know what was going on, she will appreciate and cherish all of the photos we took. It was a wonderful experience and the Pumpkin we picked was $5 (will be making fresh pumpkin puree with it). The corn maze is also $5 (make sure to wear shoes you wouldn’t care about. I had flip flops on and they were covered in dirt). My husband was like “Why did you put flip flops on?” It was warm and breezy and I didn’t have shoes that matched my outfit. So, it sounds like I will be going shopping very soon. Especially for the winter! It’s going to be really cold and I believe some places already have snow.

Tip: The best deals for winter clothes and boots is the spring and summer season.

Now it’s time to focus on baking and the holiday season is on its way! I don’t celebrate Halloween, but I do have a quick and easy recipe for my Halloween lovers. Let’s just say that there’s Oreos, mini Reese’s cups, and candy eyeballs. Making the cupcakes with your family and friends will be fun or bring the cupcakes to the party (or make it for yourself). My from scratch recipes will be sold separately and I will notify everyone on Facebook, and Instagram when I add it to the site.

I do need to add; please be careful with trick or treating because the DEA has found brightly-colored fentanyl inside the packages of candies (Whopper, Skittles, and SweeTarts). This is not about instilling fear, it’s about being aware and it’s all over the news as well. Other than that, I can’t wait for everyone to try my very first recipe on the site. May everyone have a wonderful and blessed day.
