Baketober!
Woah, October is almost over! With a blink of an eye it will be New Years. But, lets not get ahead of ourselves. I’m extremely excited to be more consistent with my posts and share quick and easy recipes that can be done right at home. Best believe that the desserts will taste like you bought it from a local bakery. Doesn’t it make you excited?
I know I started blogging again a little too late (the year is almost over!), but it’s never too late to pick up where you left off. A lot of goodies being made during this fall season is pies, such as; apple, blueberry, cherry, and pumpkin. Carrot cake and coffee cakes are huge during this time of year and I must say that I’m craving some banana chocolate chip muffins (they are delicious and I sometimes add walnuts).
The purpose of this blog is to introduce metric conversions because this is crucial in baking. I know that most of us disliked math in school, but lets look at the bright side. The bright side is that we will be eating the desserts we make. Isn’t that an awesome reward? And I promise I will get straight to the point. But, lets remember that the weight of dry ingredients will vary according to the volume or density factor. For example, a cup of flour weighs less than a cup of sugar.
