Thankful with a cup of cheer?

I have been MIA since Halloween and a lot has happened during my time away. We decided to take a trip to New York City on Nov 17th to Nov 21st. If you plan to fly with a baby, make sure to have Zarbee’s Baby Massage Oil on hand. My mother bought my daughter this oil and it helped her stay calm and sleeping through the whole flight. It gets a 10/10 and I highly recommend it!

Our trip to New York City was fun and we were so happy to see our families again (I haven’t seen my parents since I gave birth to my daughter in June). Some of our families got to meet Gigi for the first time and she was shown so much love and my mother in law hosted a beautiful party for Gigi on Nov 19th. I believe the pictures speak for themselves since the party was all about Gigi and she received so much love from everyone who went. Baby girl got so many dolls and cute outfits (so thankful!).

It is now December 26 and I have been all over the place (I guess this is what everyone spoke about when you become a parent). Regardless, we are working on a routine that works best for our family and life can get hectic since I’m currently working on my accounting degree. I finished the semester about two weeks ago (thank God the semester is over). The next semester begins mid January so I am trying to catch up with recipe posts and my blogs. At the rate that I’m going, I should be graduating Fall 2024 (God willing!).

I hope that everyone has been staying warm since the blizzard 12/22/22 (West Tennessee). We got a decent amount of snow and I have yet to step outside and with that being said, I will share a delicious hot coco recipe. It’s currently snowing as I write this blog post. But, go and check out the easy to make hot cocoa recipe. We got 5 more days to feel the holiday cheer and end the year right to welcome 2023!
